Since 1995 Czech Mint has always come out the winner of competitions for mintage of commemorative gold coins, held by CNB every five years. These coins are issued in 1000, 2500, 5000 and 10000-crown denominations, in sets featuring various themes.
A set of four gold coins “CHARLES IV”
The gold coin sets, issued over time, have depicted the Crown of Bohemia, Charles IV, Ten Centuries of Architecture and, through 2010, Technical Heritage Sites.
